Like thousands of people across the UK, I enjoy parkrun, a free 5km community running event that takes place every Saturday morning. For this project the aim is to celebrate the locations where these take place, mostly public places such as parks and promenades. I try to photograph as close as possible to the parkrun's start and / or finish point, taking my lead from whatever happens to be there on the day. I started the project in 2023 during a frustrating period when I was injured and couldn't take part in the run.
